Weight loss

Yay! I lost about 8lbs in 10 days! My diet has been weird but appropriate. Typically breakfast consists of shredded wheat and silk. And I will usually eat a salad for dinner. I'm drinking more water but can't quite kick my simply lemonade habit. I don't get much exercise in, but I do way more walking and stair climbing here in the city so I'm surely benefiting from that. Well, I'm excited. I hope to lose more weight. If I could lose 10 more pounds in about a month, I'll be ecstatic. Some of my pants/button-downs are a bit snug and I could definitely benefit from losing a few pounds!

Oh! I just started the 14-day treatment for the H. pylori eradication. Oh man, it is killing my stomach. Generally, my stomach is sensitive. I've had two bleeding ulcers already and have general gastric upset. The treatment is 30mg of prevacid, 500mg of clarithromycin and 1,000mg of amoxicillin, all twice daily. To say the least, my stomach is in uproar. Anyway, this will pass and I should be feeling better soon. :-)

I love simply lemonade too, and I think you'll find it's the fresh-squeezed taste you love, not the sugar. Try fresh squeezed lemon juice, splenda, and water.
